Hello and Welcome to my blog! My name is Mari R. and I’m a notary public with 15 years of experience in the corporate world. I’m blogging as a way to supplement my notary site with varied topics to keep things interesting around here. Sadly, notary related topics do not provide too much excitement. Future blog entries will include topics relating to my passions -- nutrition, personal finance, workplace matters, fitness -- anything, really! My goal is to keep the entries useful with quality content.
A little more about me: A Californian at heart, I was raised in the San Fernando Valley, a suburb north of Los Angeles. I was introduced to the corporate world well before college at the age of 16. A good friend and classmate of mine in high school suggested I join her for weekend employment at the remittance center for Bank of America in downtown Los Angeles. The weekend hours coincided perfectly with our weekday schedules. This first job taught me the values of professionalism in the workplace, attention to detail and the importance of punctuality at an early age.
Almost 20 years later, I’ve picked up a myriad of lessons from my corporate experiences along this journey. I’ll focus on these lessons in more detail in future blog posts.
Today’s entry is a short introduction about the founder of Crown Notary Services. Stay tuned for next week’s topic on personal finance -- specifically, how to be smart with your hard-earned dollars by earning more, saving more and investing.
